Manufactured by skilled craftsmen in the Ardennes region of France, using time honoured techniques that have been honed to perfection for over 70 years. At every stage of manufacture each item is checked by hand. All polishing, enamelling and finishing is also done by hand, to Guaratee against manufacturing defects.
Surprisingly enviornmentally friendly, each French cast iron piece is manufactured from over 40% recycled iron and the state of the art foundry has impeccable filtration systems to reduce any potential pollution to the environment. Even the sand moulds are broken down after each moulding, and the sand can be reused again to make more moulds.
The ultimate in slow cooking - but also so much more! These traditional styled, cast iron round casseroles are far more versatile than just for a slow roasted casserole. The cast iron body distributes the heat evenly and they can be used on all types of hobs, including induction so they can be used for anything you need on a hob or in the oven. A special design feature on the underside of the lid means condensation drips down during cooking ensuring your end result is moist and effortless. Double enamelled for a durable and easy to clean finish - they are even dishwasher safe. All Chasseur cast iron cookware is made in France, and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
